Abel Gill Associate
Abel joined Adamson Associates in August 2007 and was made an Associate with the firm in 2018. A graduate of the University of Waterloo, he brings to our team over 24 years of professional experience in architecture in both a design and management capacity.
His portfolio includes urban design and town planning, sports, recreation, entertainment, hospitality, commercial, residential and institutional facilities. This broad range of assignments, together with his aptitudes for design, technical resolution and team leadership, has enabled him to successfully manage and deliver many challenging projects.
Abel’s strength lies in his dexterity in coordinating geometry and detail on projects featuring complex building envelopes such as the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum, the Crossrail Station at Canary Wharf, the York University Transit Station and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station in Toronto.
In addition to Abel’s exceptional graphic design abilities, he is also a skilled photographer with his work appearing in Canadian Architect, Azure, Canadian Interiors, and the National Post.
