Martin Dolan

Associate

Martin is an Associate in our Toronto office, joining the Adamson team in 2006.

Martin Dolan joined Adamson imparting to our team significant, award-winning design experience on a wide range of project types — cultural, educational, residential, and institutional projects.

A talented designer and project manager, Martin has lent his skills to a number of our institutional projects including the Thunder Bay Consolidated Courthouse; the St. Lawrence Market North Building Revitalization; and the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design expansion at the University of Toronto.

Prior to joining our firm, Martin contributed his design skills to a number of Limited Design Competitions including the University of Toronto at Mississauga Student Centre Competition; the Agnes Etherington Arts Centre Limited Competition at Queen’s University, Kingston; the Baltimore Performing Arts Centre Limited Competition, Maryland; the McMichael Art Gallery Limited Competition, Kleinburg; the Rideau Hall Governor General Residence Limited Competition, Ottawa, ON; and the Carnegie Library Ideas Student Competition, Ministry of Culture & Recreation, Ottawa.  Martin has been the recipient of a National Design Exchange and Outside the Box Awards for his design contribution to the Arts & Administration Building at the University of Toronto at Scarborough and received a CEFPI Design Award for Greenwood College School in Toronto.

Martin received his Bachelor of Architecture from Carleton University in Ottawa. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects, the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Toronto Society of Architects, and the Canadian Green Building Council and U.S. Green Building Council. He received certification by the  National Council of Registration Boards and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
