The North East 8th project in Bellevue, Washington is a high-rise commercial development comprising approximately 500,000 sf of Class A office space with an estimated 11,500 sf of ground-level retail and public lounge space. The site will include multiple areas of generous open space as well as a mid-block connection. The building is expected to be 25 stories with an average floor plate of approximately 23,000 sf per floor. Amenities will be located on the ground and second floors with terrace spaces on select office levels and roof.
NE8th provides a unique opportunity to raise the design aesthetic in Bellevue with a strong visual impact and compelling design for the skyline, coupled with an active, approachable ground plane experience for the pedestrian. The development vision is centered on creating the most exciting office building in Bellevue by pushing the design norms for both the City and the Market, while ensuring greater human connection and collaboration; blending public and private spaces. The project’s energy will be focused on the ground floor and carried up the office tower. In addition, the NE8 project will need to achieve, at minimum, LEED Gold certification with an aspiration towards Platinum standards.
The entire development sits atop a 350,000 sf garage with five below-grade levels.
