2100 and 2050 Derry Road West

Adamson’s design concept for these two new 4-storey, Class ‘A’ office buildings was premised on the creation of a corporate campus environment flanking the existing DuPont Corporate headquarters.  The building forms and materials used for the two new buildings enhance the existing site and provide a distinctive corporate image for the new buildings. The floor plates were designed to allow for a large span between columns of 13.5 meters thereby creating a virtual column-free space to provide greater flexibility for tenant space layouts.

From the outset, our priority was to design extremely efficient buildings with the goal of achieving LEED certification.  The selection of building materials and mechanical systems was based on energy conservation while at the same time ensuring a healthy work environment.  Both buildings were certified LEED Gold in 2010.
