Adamson completed the Terminal Concept and Master Plan for the Bandaranaike Airport in 2003. Our design transforms the existing airport into an internationally recognized 'gateway' terminal facility featuring expanded airside capacity with 16 bridged gates, 8 bussed gates, a unified terminal complex and pedestrian access through lush landscaped gardens connecting the terminal building to the curbs and centrally located parking structure. The principal elements of the Master Plan provide a balanced development of airside capacity, aircraft gating and parking. These components can be expanded incrementally to meet increased demand.
