Cherry Beach Master Plan

This proposal involved the redevelopment of the Cherry Beach industrial lands to accommodate the Toronto Olympic Village Natatorium, Media Centre and related infrastructure for the long term redevelopment of the Toronto Waterfront. Designed to project a unified and memorable image on the waterfront, the plan incorporates generously landscaped public areas and significant views opening towards the City's harbour. The development includes sculptural glass towers reminiscent of marine-based shapes. While configured around pedestrian-friendly public spaces, the development still allows for the potential of a high security environment.
