Torre Mayor

Situated directly across from Chapultepec Park in the Zona Rosa area of Mexico City, this 55-storey office and retail complex offers panoramic views of the park to the south, the downtown to the east, and the Polanco district to the west.  The tower base contains 2,000 parking spaces and 150,000 square feet of retail space.

The building envelope consists of red granite on the north and blue-green reflective glass curtainwall on the south. Earthquake dampers in the tower structure limit the overall movement during an earthquake to that of a typical building in New York City or Toronto during high winds.
