TTC Vaughan Corporate Centre

The Vaughan Corporate Centre (VCC) Station, represents the end of the line of the TTC’s Spadina Line Extension. The line spans the 8.6 km distance between the existing Downsview Station on the Spadina Line located in Toronto, to the Vaughan Corporate Centre in the Region of York.

The design features column-free structures with high ceilings and bright open spaces that allows daylight to penetrate deeply into the station.

Sustainable initiatives include a cool roof to the main entrance; a green roof to the Electrical Sub-Station; increased daylight levels to reduce electric lighting usage; energy-efficient lighting in illuminated wayfinding; water efficient plumbing fixtures; reduced storm water runoff into the municipal drainage system by utilizing green roof landscaping and soft landscaping areas adjacent to other building runoff areas; and bicycle parking.
