Towers 2, 3 and 4 of the World Trade Center redevelopment include two levels of retail below-grade and three levels above-grade connected to the PATH Transit Hub. As well as being the Architect of Record for the three Towers, Adamson is responsible for coordinating the complex infrastructure within the East Bathtub. This includes integrating the retail areas, Transit Hub retail concourses, transit entrances within each of the towers, connecting the transit entrances to the concourses and the central PATH terminal.
The WTC retail component will be positioned at the center of the resurgence of Lower Manhattan, which, following the completion of the redevelopment of the WTC, will be one of the largest business districts in the United States, a vibrant residential community, a major hub of transportation within the NYC metropolitan area, and a world-renowned shopping destination.
