Rita Kwong is an Associate at AAI with over 20 years of experience and a strong set of technical skills acquired from professional practice.
Rita Kwong joined AAA in 2013. As a Technical Coordinator in our New York office, Rita acts as the primary liaison between the architectural team and the engineering disciplines with a collaborative, yet direct, leadership style that fosters a spirit of willingness at the regularly scheduled coordination meetings. By promptly following up those meetings with detailed action items lists, she assists the consultants in breaking up complex problems into manageable, achievable tasks providing clear accountability steps that maintain the forward momentum on the development of the project.
She approaches the technical and functional requirements of architectural projects with the eye of a designer and has an exceptional understanding of building systems that allows her to shape and seamlessly integrate them into the design of beautiful and well-functioning spaces.
Rita received her Master of Science in Architecture from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. She is a LEED® Accredited Professional.
