Sangwook Jin

A Project Director in our New York office

Since joining Adamson’s New York office in 2010, Sangwook has provided project management services and led the technical coordination for a number of significant projects.

As a Project Director, Sangwook is involved in all phases of a project and brings a thorough understanding and expertise in programming, quality assurance, and documentation. Notable experience includes a new 280,000 sf Class A office development at 51 Astor Place, a Class A office development at 860 Washington Street, and the Five Manhattan West renovation and modernization project. He coordinated the Contract Administrative activities for Central Park Tower at 217 West 57th Street and was the Quality Assurance Coordinator for the One Manhattan Square residential tower designed by AAI.

He began his career working for Eisenman Architects in New York where he worked for one year gaining professional experience on projects such as the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and the Jewish Museum in San Francisco. For ten years, Sangwook worked for Skidmore Owings & Merrill where he coordinated and managed a wide range of project types ranging from commercial and office developments to airports and transportation facilities.

Sangwook received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and Bachelor of Architecture in 1998 from Ball State University in Indiana. In 2000, he completed his Master of Architecture from UCLA with a full Fellowship.
