Carlos Fighetti

Associate

An Associate with AAI, Carlos joined our firm in 2010

Carlos Fighetti has 20 years of experience encompassing all aspects of architectural practice — planning, designing, detailing, coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, and project management and execution.

His engineering background, combined with his studies in architecture, gives him an intuitive understanding of the building process on both a micro and macro scale including construction technology and building materials. Carlos excels in a team environment that requires intense cooperation due to the complexities of high-performance buildings. As a LEED® Accredited Professional and proponent of sustainable design practices, he believes in designing environmentally responsible, energy-efficient buildings that are responsive to their site and climate. Recent experience includes the Times Square EDITION hotel, the 425 Park Avenue office tower, and the National 9/11 Memorial Museum Entry Pavilion in New York.

Prior to joining AAI, Carlos was a project designer with Cook + Fox and worked with our team on the Bank of America Headquarters and Stephen Sondheim Theatre renovation.

Carlos received his Master of Architecture from Rice University in Texas and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from Columbia University in New York.
