Since joining our team in 2014, Hanson has imparted his advanced BIM capabilities to some of our most complex and prestigious projects in Canada, the United States, and London, England.
Hanson Mak is one of our team’s most talented BIM leaders, specializing in digital workflows with industry-leading design software such as Revit, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, and cross-platform inter-operabilities. He has the ability to create unique custom scripts to analyze complex geometry for constructability and optimization studies. He possesses a singular ability to communicate and explain complex algorithmic solutions in a clear methodical manner with a logical organization that translates well to visual programming. As part of his role at Adamson, Hanson leads a select group of advanced BIM users on research and on future technologies and provides mentorship and training materials for BIM users to advance their skills. He is experienced in all phases of the design process from Pre-Schematic Design to Construction Administration.
A graduate of Carleton University’s School of Architecture in Ottawa, he holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (with High Distinction).
