An experienced designer who has worked in building design and project management, Mariia earned her Master of Architecture from Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Russia, in 2006. She gained professional experience as an architect in Saint Petersburg before relocating to the US. In 2013 she earned a second Master degree, in Design Research, from SCIArc.
Mariia's professional career has focused on architecture, urbanism, interior design, research, and development. She has designed, supervised, and managed the development of a variety of local and international projects ranging from office skyscrapers to movie theaters to residential projects. She has been honored with various architectural and design awards and recognition from professional institutions and organizations, including the American Architecture Prize, and the German Design Council. Her skills have contributed to the successful delivery of some of our organization’s most prominent projects. Mariia was a BIM Coordinator for the Google Bay View Campus in California's San Francisco Bay Area, and is serving the same role – in addition to acting as a Job Captain – for Park Habitat, in San Jose.
