Megan Royston

Principal

Megan joined Adamson in 2000 and is a Principal in our London office

As a Principal in our London office, Megan has led the London team in the successful completion of a series of large-scale projects across the city.

Working as Executive Architect, she has enjoyed the privilege of working with several world-renowned design architects on a variety of high-profile commercial, retail and residential projects. The role of Executive Architect has grown considerably in London in recent years, due in part to the commitment of Megan and her team in working in close collaboration with design architects to realise their design vision. As a result of this experience, Megan has gained extensive knowledge in resolving technical and constructability issues. She is currently the Director of the Executive Architect team on a number of prestigious projects in varying stages of development across London. Megan has worked closely with clients, developers, and design teams on up-front feasibility and master planning studies, assisting in the realisation of the feasibility through design development to the project completion, with the majority of these projects constructed and occupied. This early involvement has allowed Megan to gain considerable experience in commercial design issues and efficiencies.

Prior to joining Adamson, Megan was a partner in an architectural practice in South Africa, where she was responsible for the design and project management of a variety of building types including residential complexes, sports and entertainment centres, office parks, shopping centres, and cultural centres.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Natal (Durban) South Africa and the Architectural Association, UK. She is a registered architect in the United Kingdom and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
