Fred Byfield

Fred Byfield joined Adamson in 1985 and for the first five years of his employment, he was responsible for initiating and managing the firm’s CAD Department until assuming the responsibility of Production Manager in 1990. As the firm-wide Production Manager, his responsibilities included overseeing and monitoring all projects in the contract document stage. From 1993 to 2003, Fred worked on site at Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Malaysia, followed by Canary Wharf, London, England. Currently, he is the Project Manager for the London Bridge Tower development in England with Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Irina Farb

Irina joined Adamson Associates in 1983. She has served as the Project Manager on a series of institutional, commercial and retail developments for the firm including several projects at Canary Wharf in England; the Porta Nuova Garibaldi development in Milan, Italy; The Royal Ottawa Hospital redevelopment project in Ottawa; and the Toronto Medical Discoveries Tower.

Irina is highly regarded amongst clients, consultants and her peers for her rigorous management style. Her commitment to quality and technical excellence has resulted in the successful delivery of countless large-scale, complex developments across the globe. Currently, Irina is a Senior Project Manager on 20 Fenchurch in London, England.

Jack Cusimano

A senior associate and contract administrator, Jack’s expertise is based on over 25 years of experience in contract administration and project management on numerous large-scale, high profile projects in the Greater Toronto Area and the National Capital Region. A graduate of Ryerson University’s Civil Engineering Technology program, Jack joined Adamson Associates in 1998.

Jack has played an instrumental role in the Toronto Pearson International Airport redevelopment project. As the Contract Administrator and Site Manager for Airport Architects Canada (a joint venture comprising Adamson Associates Architects, Skidmore Owings Merrill International Ltd., and Moshe Safdie Associates Ltd.), Jack was the key liaison with all the Authorities Having Jurisdiction and was responsible for facilitating resolution with cost or contract disputes on this $1.8 billion project. Other responsibilities have included overseeing civil works and architectural construction to ensure compliance with drawing and specifications, and acting as the senior liaison between site and design teams.
