Our Toronto office is seeking an architect or technologist with experience of detailing cladding to join our team.
This is a full-time permanent position based in our Toronto office and working in-person. Reporting to a Project Manager, the successful candidate will work on one of our project teams to produce high-standard Revit construction drawings and details.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce detailed cladding and envelope drawings using Revit, with an emphasis on technicality and accuracy.
- Work closely with architects and senior technologists to translate design into technical cladding details, particularly for large-scale and commercial buildings.
- Assist in resolving technical issues.
- Assist in reviews of submittals and shop drawings related to cladding elements.
- Ensure all work meets Adamson standards for quality.
- Complete work upon agreed deadlines.
Skills/Qualifications
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- 5-8 years of experience in architectural production (DD, CD), with demonstrated experience in cladding and building envelope systems.
- Experience with commercial, mixed-use, and residential buildings.
- Knowledge of cladding systems and their performance considerations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player able to work collaboratively in groups of 3-30.
Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 annually.
