We are seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join our team supporting the delivery of large-scale commercial and residential developments.
Reporting to the Architectural Project Leads and Principals, you will play a key role in overseeing the cost and schedule aspects of multiple projects. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams including BIM, Specification Writers, Document Control, HR, and Office Management, as well as external Consultants and Client representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Leads in managing the cost performance of projects
- Assist with compiling contacts, maintaining accurate records of contract-related communications, and ensuring insurance documents are kept up to date
- Manage change control and additional services processes with project teams and client representatives
- Oversee financial management tasks including drafting fee proposals, cost tracking, invoice management, and financial reporting
- Monitor and report on resource allocation and utilization; prepare team organizational charts where required
- Prepare, coordinate, and monitor design schedules in collaboration with the wider design teams
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures
- Attend budget-related meetings, record minutes and track actions to ensure effective follow-up
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
Experience and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Commercial Management within a design environment
- Architecturally trained or extensive experience within large architectural practices and/or the construction industry
- Experience managing change control and additional services processes
- Experience in financial management including drafting fee proposals, cost management, invoice tracking, and financial reviews
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam; Autodesk ACC; and schedule management tools such as Asta Powerproject or similar
- Demonstrable experience managing design schedules and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to prepare team organizational charts and monitor resource utilization
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in coordinating budget meetings and accurate minute-taking
- Industry qualifications such as PMI/PMP are desirable but not essential

Compensation Range:
$70,000–$90,000
