About project
About project

The 425 Park Avenue office skyscraper was conceived as a timeless, enduring new addition to one of New York City’s most celebrated streets

Awarded to Foster + Partners on the basis of an international design competition, the iconic 650,000 square foot office tower will be the first full-block office development on this historic stretch of Park Avenue in nearly half a century. The tower will be situated along Park Avenue’s double-wide boulevard with its attractive green medians, modern art exhibits, and broad sidewalks.

Offering world-class sustainable office accommodation, the design anticipates changing needs in the workplace with large, open spaces that encompass flexible use. Each of the three tiers — low, medium, and high-rise — is defined by a landscaped terrace that will provide an excellent amenity for tenants and offer panoramic views across Manhattan and Central Park.

The grand double-height ground floor lobby is flanked by a dynamic, double-height retail space on one side and a sophisticated 14,000 square foot fine dining facility on the other.
