About project
About project

Cabot Place houses retail space, conference facilities, a theatre and the grand Cabot Hall.

With a full perimeter balcony, this 23,700 sf hall is detailed in rich finishes, including woods, marble, and granite from all over the world. Cabot Hall has a series of full floor-to-ceiling double oak doors, closed for performances, and open for withdrawal during intermission. Topped by a glass dome, the rotunda provides a focal point for the Cabot Place East retail.

The 102,000 sf, four-storey retail building incorporates a central full-height atrium capped with a domed skylight and provides a panoramic view of the city from its first floor multiuse assembly hall at its west end. The assembly hall has a state-of-the-art performing arts centre with a moveable stage and partitions for concerts and assembly functions. Underground parking is available for approximately 2,500 cars.

Adamson Associates provided design development, contract documentation, and full-time inspection working with theatre consultant, Theatre Projects, and acoustical consultant Shen-Milson.
