A luxury residential tower at the confluence of New York’s Soho, Tribeca, and West Village neighborhoods
AAI Architects, P.C. worked with Paris-based design firm Loci Anima, on this new 27-story residential project. The design which is a modern interpretation of a traditional SoHo loft, will accommodate 170 apartments and include more than 2,300 square feet of ground-floor retail and 30 on-site parking spaces.
The development is situated one block east of Hudson River Park in the Hudson Square neighborhood, which was rezoned from manufacturing to residential use in 2013. Transportation is available via the 1 train on Varick Street and the C and E trains on the Avenue of Americas, and access to West Street is one block away. Residential units average approximately 1,200 square feet and offer 10-foot high ceilings, eight-inch white oak floors, full slab marble kitchens counters, and expansive stone bathrooms. Sebastien Segers Architecture provided interior design services.
The building facade for Greenwich West was custom made by the venerable Wienerberger brickworks in Austria.
