Alex Bucher

Associate

An Associate with our New York office, Alex has been a part of our team since 2017

Alex Bucher joined AAI after completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Maryland College of Art and his Master of Architecture at the University of Cincinnati. He spent nearly five years contributing to the redevelopment of 550 Washington Street, which transformed a disused railway terminal into Google’s New York headquarters. More recently, Alex has been working on Tower 2 at the World Trade Center, coordinating several technical aspects of the project set to occupy the last major remaining plot of the redeveloped site.

A skilled modeller and BIM strategist, Alex has extensive experience liaising with clients, local utilities, and transit authorities, as well as in the technical coordination of a host of project development areas, from floodproofing to code compliance.
