Adept at bridging traditional architectural practice to emerging technology, Azita brings to our team extensive experience collaborating with clients, designers, and engineers on complex projects in New York City.
After first joining AAI in 2019, Azita served as a Project Manager on 270 Park Avenue, guiding the MEP and structural engineers and leading coordination and documentation of complex building areas – including the below-grade train shed, main lobby, and trading floors. After two and a half years with our team, she took on a role with an interiors firm, ultimately returning to AAI in 2025 to join the 2 World Trade Center project.
Azita is recognized for her rigorous approach to documentation, code compliance, and coordination. She has a particular interest in quality management and has developed design standards, master specifications, and QA/QC systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across complex organizations.
In addition to her experience on prominent commercial towers, she contributed to hotel designs at a series of firms in Iran, Connecticut, and New York. To enhance her understanding of these complex environments, she studied hotel operation and hospitality administration at New York University. She continues to bolster her professional development with courses in a range of subject areas, from construction methods and materials to the New York City Building Code.
