Adding 1.8 million square feet of office space to Toronto's downtown core

Adamson is the Architect of Record for the transformation of this historic property in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects. The new, 64-storey mixed-use office building and atrium at the southeast corner of the site replaces two smaller buildings on the site and enhance connections between the existing buildings and out to the surrounding neighbourhood.

A key component of the redevelopment plan is the creation of a new atrium building — the “Pavilion” — that will define a landmark gathering place in the heart of the Financial District, while considerably improving the quality of the public realm and re-defining the identity of this iconic site.

191 Bay will add approximately 1.8 million square feet of office space to the downtown core and will be directly connected to the city’s underground PATH network and nearby rapid transit services.
