About project

A vibrant mixed-use project occupying a 28-acre site in Toronto's west end

This project is a joint effort by First Capital Realty and the CPP Investment Board to redevelop a 28-acre site located in the west end of Toronto previously occupied by “Christie Cookies”. The vision for this waterfront community is a mixed-use precinct that provides the area with a vibrant, concentrated, and identifiable centre that it currently lacks.

A full build-out of 400,000 sf of retail, 12,000,000 sf of residential, and a minimum of 100,000 sf of commercial is presently planned for the site which will be rolled out in phases over several years. A full complement of institutional programs and significant public spaces are included in our Master Plan.

Higher-order transit infrastructure improvements will accompany each phase and facilitate seamless connectivity with the city core, reinforcing the project’s role as a vital civic hub.
