With more than 28 million square feet of office space, the site is the first skyscraper district in the United Kingdom. Since the 1980s, Adamson has been actively involved in the development of the site. Working with internationally renowned Architects, Adamson has provided contract document and site coordination services for much of the development and has been significantly involved in retail, transportation, and below-grade areas, as well as master planning and feasibility studies for all parts of the Estate. To date, Adamson Associates has served as the Executive Architect for more than 16 million sf of gross construction area.
Canary Wharf continues to evolve and expand with the creation of the 20-acre Wood Wharf development. This new mixed-use district at the eastern end of the estate creates a neighbourhood of homes, offices, shops, restaurants, and cafes.
Adamson continues to play an integral role in the evolution of Canary Wharf and is currently the Executive Architect for new commercial office towers, currently in development.
