About project
About project

The historic 16-story former New York Times building was transformed into modern Class A+ office and retail space by Interior Design firm, Andres Escobar and Associates, with Architect-of-Record, AAI Architects, PC.

The front of the building at 43rd Street was historically landmarked and completely restored, maintaining its original brick and limestone façade. The expanded and renovated lobby doubles the original floor area and ceiling height and features a custom terrazzo floor with Bianco Giogia marble walls, custom mirrored stainless steel accents, and graphite tone metal mesh with white glass panel walls, and two large LED display panels displaying artist works original to the project. Existing elevators were modernized with bright contemporary interiors, and two new elevators were added.
