About project
About project

Partially destroyed by the collapse of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Winter Garden was restored to its former grandeur

The project was fast-tracked to meet completion by the one-year anniversary of the September 11th tragedy. Adamson’s scope of services included partial design development for the new facades, and full contract document and site services for the restoration work. A four-man field office was set up to provide full-time inspection during construction.

In 2002, the project received the New York Construction News Award of Merit for Restoration.
