Chris Wegner

Principal

Chris is a Principal in our Toronto office

Chris is highly adept at leading the long-term efforts of diverse design teams and is a constructive and proactive voice on behalf of the firm’s clients.

His ability to encourage dialogue and gain consensus – among consultants, contractors, and owners – consistently leads to workable solutions to complex design problems. Chris’s strong background in building science and his passion for effective project management inform his leadership on complex, high-profile projects such as 425 Park Avenue and 4 World Trade Center in New York, and the new Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Ontario.

Chris leads much of our work in Western Canada, where his projects include The Stack, Vancouver’s tallest office tower and Canada’s first to achieve Canada Green Building Council’s Zero Carbon Building - Design Standard certification. He is currently overseeing several large-scale developments in Toronto and Vancouver, including commercial facilities, institutional work, and mixed-use projects anchored by residential components.

In addition to a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, Chris holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies from the Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS) and a Bachelor of Technology degree from Ryerson University.
