George Metzger

Principal

George Metzger is the Principal responsible for the West Coast Office in Los Angeles.

George Metzger joined our team in 2006, bringing to our team a critically acclaimed design sensibility and a portfolio of high-profile projects across the world.

His expertise encompasses all aspects of architectural practice — master planning, architectural design, interior design, technical issues, and project management. George has worked in close collaboration with a number of renowned designers, turning concepts and sketches into award-winning completed projects. Many of these projects have set new standards in project delivery methods, 3D computing technology, BIM, architectural technology, and contractor collaboration systems. George has worked on virtually every building type, and at all scales — new and renovation projects, commercial high-rise/ low-rise, hotel/residential, retail/restaurant/entertainment, institutional, museum, and music venues.

Over the course of his career, he has worked in close collaboration with a number of renowned designers, turning concepts and sketches into award-winning completed projects.

George received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky. George is registered to practice in the States of California, New York, District of Columbia, Idaho, Texas, Washington, Nevada, and the Province of Ontario. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Urban Land Institute, and is Certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. In 2013, George was recognized with a Distinguished Alumnus Award for his contributions to professional practice from the University of Kentucky College of Design
